I really wanted to feel good about them, but the sourcing info just felt a little vague to me. My sister and I were looking through it, and there were a lot of nice-sounding words, but we still couldn’t really figure out where everything comes from or how the farmers are actually paid. Maybe that information is hidden somewhere, but it shouldn’t take that much digging. It just didn’t feel very transparent.

I tried making these tortillas, but they came out tough instead of soft like I expected. Maybe it was something I did, but I followed the directions and was hoping they’d turn out better. Has anyone else had this happen?

I ordered masa harina from Masienda after seeing a few people talk about it online. i was mostly paying attention to the taste and how the tortillas turned out, and on that front it really did feel more authentic than the regular store-bought stuff. My tortillas came out nicely, with better flavor and texture than usual. Shipping was fine, not especially fast, but nothing to complain about. The price is a little high for me, so I probably wouldn’t buy it every week, but I’d definitely order it again when I want better homemade tortillas.

I really like what Masienda sells, and the site looks nice at first glance. That said, actually using it was kind of hit or miss for me. A few pages loaded slower than I expected, and I found myself clicking around way more than I should have just to find basic info, which got a little annoying, not gonna lie. Checkout did work fine in the end, so no major disaster there, but the layout felt a bit crowded on my phone. It’s not a terrible experience or anything, just not as easy as it could be. I’d still order again because I like the products, but the website could definitely use a little cleanup

Maybe it’s buried somewhere, but why is it so complicated? For a food brand that talks about sourcing, I expected actual proof instead of vague little details. Most of my order was correct, which was nice, but one of the bags was completely wrong. I’m not really sure how that happened, so I was a little confused when I opened everything up...

I placed my order thinking everything would go smoothly, but it ended up being a bit of a headache. After the issue came up, I was told a refund would be processed, so I waited and kept checking my account. Days went by, then more time passed, and still nothing showed up. At this point, I’m just frustrated because I’ve followed up and I’m still sitting here without my refund.

I didn’t have no trouble using the site at all. Everything was simple to find, and the whole process felt straightforward.

I ordered a couple of heirloom corn varieties from Masienda and they arrived fresh and really nicely packed. The blue corn made some seriously good tortillas. It did take me one try to get the masa just right, but it was worth it. The extra worrying on my part was totally unnecessary because the corn itself was excellent

I’ve ordered from Masienda a few times now, and the delivery has been really reliable. The tracking updates are easy enough to follow, and the box shows up when it says it will. Nothing too fancy to report, but you know how nice it is when food arrives on time and isn’t all banged up. I’ll definitely keep ordering.

I ordered from Masienda because I was looking for really clean corn products with simple ingredients!!! The taste was decent, no real complaints there, but I felt like the ingredient info could’ve been easier to find and more clearly explained!!! I had to click around way too much just to feel sure about what I was buying, and that kind of annoyed me!!! Maybe it’s not a big deal for everyone, but ingredient purity matters a lot to me!!! For the price, I expected to feel more confident about the product!!! I probably won’t be reordering anytime soon!!!

I found it way too confusing to be useful. It wasn’t clear who was actually responsible for what or who owned the different parts of the process, so I ended up more frustrated than helped.

My order from Masienda showed up packed well, honestly. The boxes felt sturdy, and nothing inside was ripped or leaking or anything like that. One corner was a little dented from shipping, which was kind of annoying, but it didn’t really mess with the actual product, so... not a big deal. I also appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with a bunch of extra packing stuff. Overall, good packaging. Not perfect, but definitely fine

I’ve been using this subscription for a few months now, it’s been a tiny miracle in my kitchen. The masa harina always shows up fresh, there have been no mysterious shipping disasters or weird delays, and changing my delivery date was shockingly simple. I love not having to remember to reorder every time because, truly, that was one more thing my brain did not need.

They did end up fixing the issue, but only after I had to chase them a few times. As someone who likes things handled without constant reminders, that part was frustrating. Glad it got sorted in the end, but the process could’ve been smoother.
